The spa and leisure centre
The entrance is from outside the building, daily between 10:00 and 21:00. The spa is included for guests staying at the property.
Indoor pool with hydromassage
150 cm deep, water between 27–30 °C, with a hydromassage bay and loungers along the windows.
The hydromassage bay
A hydromassage basin built into the pool, for 6–8 people. Not a separate hot tub — a section of the same pool, with its own jets.
Himalayan salt room
A lit salt wall and wooden benches. The salt aerosols are good for the airways.
Finnish sauna and steam sauna
Two separate saunas, with benches on two levels. Our advice: short sessions, more often.
Bowling, games and gym
A bowling lane, billiards, table tennis, air hockey, a gym and a play area for children.
Pavilion, barbecue and smokehouse
Barbecue areas, a wood-fired oven, a hotplate stove, our own smokehouse and a roasting spit, all in the wooden pavilion.

Bucovina, from Vama in every direction
Vama, in Suceava county, sits halfway between the painted monasteries — Orthodox churches whose outer walls are covered in 16th-century frescoes — and the Rarău–Giumalău mountains. Almost everything worth seeing in southern Bucovina can be done in a day, there and back.

The best known of the painted monasteries, with the Last Judgement across the west wall and the celebrated Voroneț blue. A UNESCO World Heritage site.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the pool if I am not staying at the guest house?
Yes. The spa centre has its own entrance from outside the building and is open to visitors as well, daily between 10:00 and 21:00. Admission is 60 lei per adult and 30 lei for children aged 4 to 10; under-3s go in free. Guests staying with us have it included.
Can I bring my dog to Lidana?
No. We cannot accept pets in any of the accommodation units. We would rather tell you now than at the reception desk after you have driven to Vama.
How much does a room cost per night?
A double room is 350 lei per night for 2 adults, a triple room between 400 and 450 lei depending on who is in it, and an apartment between 500 and 600 lei. Rates exclude breakfast and include access to the pool. Package rates apply over the holiday periods.
Can I book online?
No. Bookings are taken by telephone only, daily between 08:00 and 22:00. A 50% advance deposit is required to confirm and secure your reservation. If you ring outside those hours, leave us a WhatsApp message or fill in the form on the contact page and we will call you back.
What is included in the room rate?
The room, full access to the spa centre — pool, hydromassage bay, both saunas and the salt room — plus WiFi and parking. Breakfast is not included. At the leisure centre (bowling, games room, gym) you get 50% off. The outdoor ciubăr (a wood-fired hot tub) is paid for separately.
Where exactly is Vama and how do I get there?
Vama is a village in Suceava county, in southern Bucovina, in the valley of the river Moldova, between Gura Humorului and Câmpulung Moldovenesc, on the DN17 (E58). Do not confuse it with Vama Buzăului. You will find us at Strada Sălătruc nr. 1; detailed directions are on the contact page.
Do you accept holiday vouchers?
Yes, we accept Romanian holiday vouchers (vouchere de vacanță, a benefit Romanian employers give their staff for domestic travel) in electronic form, on the terms set out in law. The vouchers are personal and non-transferable, and any package paid for with them must include accommodation.
